The need for Rural Watches and Communities to communicate, share issues and forge links for strength and support has become increasingly clear - so we have launched a communications platform to help you establish stronger on-line links and contacts with other Rural Watches in your area.

Historically, forging links over distances has been technically problematic. However now, with improved internet coverage and connectivity through mobile and landline links, we can shrink distances to just a few taps of the keyboard!

Avon & Somerset Watch RURAL lets you contact, communicate and raise Rural Affairs issues and alerts for the safety, security and well being of others in your area.

It is open to EVERYONE in Avon and Somerset Watch

You can also use it to create your own local or wider Rural Watch group.

Avon & Somerset Watch RURAL runs on the TELEGRAM messenger app. It's much like What's App - but is more secure and offers better facilities and functions - ideal for larger groups.
